Spent some quality time wandering around SFO today.

Kinja'd!!!

There’s a display of cultural artifacts from the 1950’s. Of course, mostly from upper class WASP culture, but that’s who had the money to buy stuff. Camera, go say hello to your grandpa:

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

As a child of the 80’s I really assumed we would all die in a thermonuclear apocalypse eventually. We tend to forge t how that possibility was hanging over daily life:

Kinja'd!!!

One last reminder that San Francisco embraces all deviant behaviors, even putting a non-V8 engine in an American car, and daring to stick it in the most unholy orientation:

Kinja'd!!!

Let your freak flag fly indeed.

Ooh, I saw that exhibit. I moving- walkwayed right past it. Maybe I would have checked it out had they updated are departure time instead of leaving it as scheduled until we were already over an hour late.

Nah, I tried living  in San Francisco as a closet conservative for a while but they kicked me out. They’re open-minded as long as you agree with them.

Yes, I definitely remember sitting in the auditorium in high school and listening to the FHA present ways to assemble your survival pack.

Those metal car models look great.
